“We are so excited for our second season at Bold Point Park to begin and plan to at least double the number of events we hold at the waterfront venue this coming season compared to our first season,” said Michele Maker Palmieri, founder and president of Waterfront Productions, the parent company of Rhode Island Waterfront Events.

The venue features beautiful views of upper Narragansett Bay and the Providence and Seekonk Rivers, overlooking the Providence skyline. The venue also offers food and beverage options including full bars, lounge areas and local food trucks.

Bold Point Park is located off Veteran’s Memorial Parkway on Waterfront Drive next to Tockwotton on the Waterfront (500 Waterfront Drive). It is directly across the river from India Point Park in Providence.

Waterfront Productions has a three-year lease of land at Bold Point Park. Additional approvals and permits were also secured from the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, the National Park Service and the Rhode Island Coastal Resources Management Council.

The East Providence City Council initially approved the venue for the Bold Point Park property in November 2016.

“This is an entertainment experience like no other in southern New England offering a casual, relaxed setting with open air waterfront areas and stunning views of the mixed landscape and skyline,” Palmieri said. “World Class entertainers of all genres perform at an intimate open air setting, where all seats are within 150 feet from the stage. Our eclectic lineup will boast a stacked roster of concerts, music festivals, comedy shows and community events. It’s all about gathering good vibes, creating memorable experiences and savoring Rhode Island’s best seasons on the waterfront.”
