PAWTUCKET - Veronica Conlon, 88 a lifelong resident of Rhode Island, died December 19 after a long battle with dementia. She was the daughter of the late Anna (Griffin) Conlon and Peter Conlon. She was preceded by her brothers Thomas Conlon, Edward Conlon and Joseph Conlon. Veronica was born January 13, 1925 and spent much of her childhood between Pawtucket and Riverside RI. She worked for the state of Rhode Island for 35 years before retiring. She was an avid golfer, loved to travel and loved to learn even more.
Veronica leaves behind the most beloved family nephew Thomas F. Conlon and his wife Michelle Conlon of Blue Hill Maine; niece Kathy Clegg and her husband John Clegg of Hudson NH; niece Erin Conlon of Hudson NH; niece Elizabeth Whalen and her husband Michael Whalen of Nashua NH; and niece Roni Conlon and her husband Ted Norwalt of Wilton NH.
