PAWTUCKET — Pawtucket Police said Wednesday they have identified a suspect in the shooting of a man who was found injured in front of 558 Smithfield Ave. on Tuesday morning.
According to Pawtucket Police, they received a report of a shooting at around 10:30 a.m. When they arrived, they found the victim, 28-year-old Terrance Myers, of Providence, lying on the sidewalk with several gunshot wounds. Police say Myers had actually been shot in a parking lot on Mabel Street after a confrontation that began at a house on Weeden Street and had fled to a nearby liquor store, Fairlawn Wine & Spirits, to summon aid.
Police say Myers told them he had gone to the house on Weeden Street to settle a dispute he was having with someone who lived there.
