WOONSOCKET --- Tolman sure didn’t look like a team that hadn’t played a game in 21 days on Friday night.
The Tigers, who received three-goal games from Kody Casavant and Jared Pedro, scored five goals in the first 10 minutes of play and cruised to a 10-1 win over winless Woonsocket in their Division III matchup at Adelard Arena.
The Tigers, who improved to 6-3, also received a pair of assists from Kevin Tracey and Casavant, who currently leads the league in scoring with 19 goals and 10 assists.
Ted Reall and Anthony Bisbano each added a goal and an assist, and Ryan Pedro and Brandon Speight rounded out the Tigers’ goalscorers.
The Tigers outshot the Novans, 54-13.
Mello's goal in OT keys SRA/PCD/Wheeler victory
WARWICK --- Ben Mello scored off a rebound of his own shot 33 seconds into overtime to lift the St. Raphael/Providence Country Day/Wheeler co-op team to a thrilling 4-3 victory over Toll Gate on Friday night at Thayer Arena.
Mello ended the night with a pair of goals for the co-op team, which is 6-4-2 in Division II-North action, and John Geller sent the game into overtime by tying the score with 1:28 left in the game.
Mark Carrara also contributed a goal and an assist, and goalie Max Lemay ended up with 30 saves.
