Marion L. Huntress
PAWTUCKET- Marion L. Huntress, 80, of Birchland Avenue, Pawtucket died Monday, February 20, 2012. She was the wife of Ronald H. Huntress. They had been married 50 years.
Mrs. Huntress was born in Concord Heights, New Hampshire, the daughter of the late Archie and Elva Moody.
She was a scrub nurse at the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island in Pawtucket for many years.

Rita M. Garceau
CUMBERLAND- Rita M. Garceau, 79, formerly of Cumberland died on Feb. 15th at the Coventry Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center. She was the wife of the late Roland Garceau.
With her husband, she had co-owned and operated the Village Cafe in Cumberland for about twenty years until her retirement at the age of sixty.
She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Agnes (Leclair) Huard.
Survivors are her nephew, Daniel Garceau of Vermont; her brother Arthur Huard and Randy and Wanda Huard.

Charlotte J. Parfitt
BARRINGTON- Charlotte "Ma" J. (Couchie) Parfitt, 69, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Richard Parfitt, Jr. for forty-eight years.
She was a daughter of the late James and Margaret (Mathews) Couchie.
Charlotte resided in Pawtucket until moving to East Providence in 1956 where she graduated in 1960 from East Providence High School. She also resided in Enfield, CT for five years before moving to Barrington in 1969. Charlotte was a forty year member of the S & B Club of the Vera Plat area of Barrington.

Henry J. Dash
PAWTUCKET- Henry J. Dash, 86, of Pawtucket, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012. He was the husband of June (Cartier) Dash.
Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late James and Rose (Ferat) Dash. Mr. Dash was a World War II army veteran.
A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he worked in shipping and receiving at Union Wadding in Pawtucket for twenty one years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of the Fierlit-Korzen American Legion Post #79. He was an avid bowler, golfer, and loved working in his yard.

Muriel Smith
CENTRAL FALLS- Muriel Smith, 71, of King Street, passed away Saturday at home after an illness. She was the widow of the late Junior Smith.
Born in Providence a daughter of the late Herbert and Edna (Higginson) Chamberland.
She lived in Providence before moving to Central Falls, 9 years ago.
She leaves a son, Joseph Elliott her principal care-giver with whom she lived, 4 daughters, Melissa Morales of Central Falls, Ann Perreault and Leola Reis both of Pawtucket and Stacie Elliott of Providence, 25 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren.

Emilia DaRosa
PAWTUCKET- Emilia DaRosa, 91, of Pawtucket died February 18, 2012. She was born in Brava, Cape Verde. She was the daughter of the late Luis DePina and Julia DaRosa.
She came to this country 34 years ago settling in Pawtucket. She was employed by Hope Webbing as a machine operator for 10 years.
She is survived by 4 daughters Carlota Gomes, Maria Rodrigues, Julia Gomes all of Pawtucket and Domingas Gomes of Lincoln. 2 sons Joao Gomes of Central Falls and Manuel Gomes of Pawtucket. Many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Christina R. Petrarca
PAWTUCKET- Christina R. "Chris" Petrarca, of, died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late James A. Petrarca Sr.
Mrs. Petrarca was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Margaret A. Ma (Morgan) Madsen and Ola B. Madsen. She was a Pawtucket resident all of her life.
She worked at the family restaurant, Margaret's Ice Cream Parlor, in Pawtucket for many years. She later worked at L.G.Balfour Co. and the State of Rhode Island.

PAWTUCKET- Manuel Nunes, 87, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully Friday, February 17, 2012. He was the husband of the late Jennie (Wojcikiewicz) Nunes.
Born in Utica, New York, he was the son of the late Manuel and Maria (Rodrigues) Nunes.

CUMBERLAND- Joan F. (Griffin) Patricio, 80, of Castle Gate Road died Thursday, February 16, 2012 at Evergreen House Health Center, East Providence. She was the wife of the late Joaquim "Jack" Patricio.
Born in Providence, a daughter of the late James and Emma (Shea) Griffin, she had lived in Cumberland all of her life.
She was a communicant of St. Aidan's Church, Cumberland.

PAWTUCKET- Natalia J. Zeferino, "J" 42, passed February 12th.
Born in Praia, Cape Verde, on Christmas Day, a daughter of Verissimo Zeferino and the late Zulmira Fontes.
She been previously been employed as a Dry Cleaner and for Interpack Fabricators for several years.
She is survived by a son, Manuel DeBurgo and a daughter, Sandy DeBurgo,
Five brothers, Tony, John, Jose, Carlos and Libertino Zeferino, two sisters, Lucinda Witt and Elisa Zeferino and 4 grandchildren, Lavon, Jayvon, Camron and Caralyse DeBurgo.
