Yvette R. Riendeau
NORTH SMITHFIELD - Yvette R. Riendeau, 100, died peacefully at St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield on Thursday, October 11, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Alphonse 'Al' Riendeau. Mrs. Riendeau was born in Pawtucket, the daughter of the late Philias and Celina (Bessette) Benoit and was a lifelong resident of the Blackstone Valley.
Mrs. Riendeau was a homemaker and her home and family were the centers of her life. She was an avid bowler, golfer, and bridge player.
She is survived by her sons Richard (Eileen) Riendeau of Seekonk and Normand Riendeau of North Smithfield, her grandchildren Marc (Christene) Riendeau of Northbridge, MA and Aimee (Sean) Sullivan of Foxborough, MA and four great-grandchildren, Mathieu and Brian Sullivan and Luc and Leyton Riendeau.
She was the sister of the late Normand Benoit, Doris Duffy, and Loretta Skrydalewicz.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, October 15, 2012 from the Darlington Mortuary of L. Heroux & Son, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket at 10:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Chapel at St. Antoine Residence, 10 Rhodes Avenue, North Smithfield, RI at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Avenue, Pawtucket. The family will receive visitors from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Monday morning.
