Yolanda V. Foley
PAWTUCKET - Yolanda V. Foley, 91, originally of Pawtucket passed away peacefully on December 1, 2012 at the Steere House in Providence, RI. She was the beloved wife of the late William A. Foley, retired Lieutenant, Pawtucket Fire Department.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Giulia (Iacovone) Balasco. She was the devoted mother to two sons, Douglas, MA Police Chief Patrick T. Foley and his wife Debra, and William A. Foley and his wife Martha, and her daughter, the late Rose Ann Sneesby. She was the dear sister to Catherine Spagnolo and Alfred Balasco and the late Liberina Vaccaro and Gaetano Balasco. Her life revolved around her grandchildren; Kimberly Wheeler, Kasia Foley, Michael and Gregory Foley and her three great- grandchildren. She was employed as an assembler at School House Candy in Pawtucket.
The funeral for Mrs. Foley will be Wednesday, December 5 at 9:00 am from the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Edward's Church, 396 Weeden Street, Pawtucket at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are invited. Calling hours are on Tuesday, December 4 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at the Mount St. Mary Cemetery on 661 Prospect Street, Pawtucket.
