William T. Moreau
SEEKONK, MA - William T. 'Bill' Moreau, 54, died unexpectedly on Wednesday at the Miriam Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
He was the beloved husband of Nancy A. (Ryan) Moreau for 28 years. He was born in Central Falls, RI, the son of the late Oscar and Claire (Chartier) Moreau and lived in the Blackstone Valley until moving to Seekonk 24 years ago.
Mr. Moreau was a graduate of Bridgewater State College and was a biology teacher at the Advanced Math and Science Academy in Marlborough, MA; he was admired for his passionate devotion to his students.
Mr. Moreau was a Past Master Jenks Lodge #24 in Pawtucket, and was a member of the Rhode Island Shriners and a former member of the Seekonk Lions Club.
In addition to his wife he leaves beloved twin sons, Raymond and William Jr. of Seekonk, his siblings Charlotte Cleary of Cranston, Claudette Bourk of Woonsocket, John Moreau of CT, Jo-Ann Ormonde of Pawtucket, David Moreau of SC, Marc Moreau of Cranston, Christine Biben of PA, Oscar 'Guy' Moreau of Providence and many nieces and nephews. Bill will be most remembered for his love for life and devotion and love for his family.
His funeral will be on Monday, July 16th beginning at the Darlington Mortuary L. Heroux & Son, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket at 10:00 a.m. and a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Avenue, Pawtucket.
Calling hours on Sunday, July 15th from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
