William H. MacKay
WEST WARWICK - William H. MacKay of West Warwick passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013. He was the husband of the late Margaret (Conheeney) MacKay.
Mr. MacKay was born in Providence, the son of the late Alexander and Alice MacKay. He was a World War II Navy Veteran serving in the Pacific Theatre.
Mr. MacKay was a lineman for New England Telephone for over thirty six years before he retired in 1983.
He is survived by his children: Karen D'Olivo of West Warwick, Richard MacKay of Warwick, Stephen MacKay and his wife Christine of New Jersey, Nancy Mowry of West Warwick, William A. MacKay of Warwick, James MacKay and his wife Carole of Florida, Thomas MacKay and his wife Deborah of Exeter and Diane Masoian and her husband Robert of Attleboro, Massachusetts. Mr. MacKay had eighteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Harold and Donald MacKay.
There will be a funeral service for Mr. MacKay on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at 10:00 am in the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. His burial will be with full Military Honors in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. The calling hours will be Friday from 4-7 pm in the funeral home.
