William "Bill" Theodore Goyette
NORTH ATTLEBORO - William "Bill" Theodore Goyette, 80, of Mount Hope Street, North Attleboro, died unexpectedly at his residence on Saturday, October 22, 2011. He was the husband of the late Mary M. (Sabatini) Goyette who died on September 18, 2007.
Born in Mansfield, Massachusetts on November 1, 1930, he was one of twelve children born to the late Ovila I. and Emma R. (Arns) Goyette. He was raised and educated in North Attleboro and remained a resident of the community for most of his life.
Mr. Goyette was employed as a meat cutter in Boston from 1957 until the 1990s and later was employed as a groundskeeper for Chemawa Golf Course in North Attleboro for several years.
He was a communicant of St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro where he often volunteered with gardening responsibilities.
His favorite pastimes included gardening, bowling, playing golf and listening to country music.
Mr. Goyette leaves two sons: John A. Goyette of Cumberland, Rhode Island and Kevin Goyette of Pawtucket, Rhode Island; his siblings: Doris M. Legg of North Attleboro; Elizabeth A. Camire of Lakewood, Washington; Joseph R. Goyette of Norton; Ernest "Mickey" A. Goyette, with whom he resided, of North Attleboro; Marie T. White of Oxford, Maine; Charles D. Goyette of Peru, Massachusetts and Richard A. Goyette of Pawtucket, Rhode Island; several grandchildren; three generations of nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.
He was the father of the late William R. Goyette who died in 1994 and was the brother of the late Thomas O. Goyette, Robert G. Goyette, David W. Goyette and James O. Goyette.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on Monday, October 24, 2011 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on the left) Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.

Those in need of a local ride to visitation may call the funeral home at (508) 695-0200 to make an advance reservation for such gratis transportation.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church, 105 Stanley Street (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, turn right onto Stanley Street in mile and travel to end of Stanley Street), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro with the Rev. Thomas A. Frechette, Pastor, officiating.
There will be no funeral cortege from the funeral home prior to the commencement of church services.
Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville, Rhode Island.
An invitation to join the family for continued fellowship and refreshments will be extended at the conclusion of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mr. Goyette's name may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Mark Church, PO Box 1240, Attleboro Falls, MA 02763.
