CENTRAL FALLS - Virginia (Gouveia) LeDoux, 89, died Friday, October 18, at Sunny View Nursing Home, Warwick.
Born in Lincoln, a daughter of the late Anthony and Theresa (Texiera) Gouveia, she was a lifelong resident of Central Falls.
She worked as a saleswoman for Terrace Shop, Pawtucket. and was a member of the YWCA. She was a communicant of the former St. Matthew's Church, now Holy Spirit Parish, Central Falls.
She is survived by one son, Anthony LeDoux, and his wife Diane, of Warwick, and two grandchildren, Anthony and Adam LeDoux. She was the sister of the late Evelyn V. Macksoud.
Her funeral will be held Monday, October 21 at 8:30 a.m. from BELLOWS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln, with the celebration of a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Spirit Parish, 1030 Dexter Street, Central Falls. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Sunday, 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory to the Holy Spirit Parish Building Fund, 1030 Dexter Street, Central Falls, R.
