PAWTUCKET - Virginia C. Perron, 77, formerly of Fern Street, Pawtucket and a resident of Emerald Bay Manor, Cumberland, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011 surrounded by her loving family.
She was the wife of the late Leonard F. Perron Sr.
Mrs. Perron was born in Pawtucket, a lifelong resident, the daughter of the late Antonio and Violet (Formica) Maciminio. She was a longtime member St. Joseph's Parish in Pawtucket and a member of the Seniors group there.
She is survived by her children, Linda L. Mercer and her husband Joseph of Rotonda Fla., Susan V. Goodwin of Martinez Ca, Leonard F. Perron Jr. an Debi Coia of Cumberland, and Steven M. Perron and his wife Tamicka of Townsend MA. She also leaves a sister Gloria Beauvais of Florida, her grandchildren, Justin Perron, Crystal Martinez, Dakota and Madison Perron and her great grandchildren, Audrey and Austin Girard, and Drake Martinez.
She was the sister of the late Antonio P. Maciminio Jr. who was killed while serving his country during the Vietnam War.
The funeral for Mrs. Perron will be Thursday at 9:00 a.m. from the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Josephs Church, Walcott Street, Pawtucket at 10:00 a.m.
Her burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. The calling hours for Mrs. Perron will be Wednesday 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home.
