Vincent L. Curry
PROVIDENCE - Curry,Vincent L., 85, passed away on August 20, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence, surrounded by his loving family. Vincent was the husband of the late Jeannine B. (Brunelle) Curry. He was born in Providence to the late John J. and Helen (Garrity) Curry.
After serving his country in the U.S. Navy in World War II, Vincent settled in Pawtucket and worked for 42 years at the Premier Tread Company in Central Falls retiring as a Foreman.
Mr. Curry loved the time he spent with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid Red Sox fan who truly cherished their World Series victories in 2004 and 2007.
Mr. Curry leaves his children, Kevin M Curry and his wife Susan of Pawtucket, David E. Curry and his wife Celeste of Johnston, James V. Curry and his wife Ann Marie of Millville, MA, John J. Curry of Providence, Patrick F. Curry and his wife Michele of Pawtucket, Karen M. Asselin and her husband Gerald of Pawtucket, Maryann J. Lefaivre of Cumberland, seventeen grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a brother Raymond R. Curry of Florida. He is predeceased by his siblings Barbara Smith and John Curry.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Curry Thursday at 10:00 am in St. Teresa's Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. His calling hours will be Wednesday afternoon from 4-7 pm in the MANNING-HEFFERN FUNERAL HOME, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited.
