By DONNA KENNY KIRWAN PAWTUCKET — Police are searching for a male suspect who committed an armed robbery at the Subway sandwich shop at 612 Pawtucket Avenue on Wednesday night.
According to Detectives Sgt. Todd Stonely, a man entered the sandwich shop at around 10 p.m. and approached a female clerk. He displayed a handgun and demanded money. The clerk complied and the man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was described as a black male in his mid-20s, who was about 5’11” tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a baseball hat, a gray T-shirt, black jeans and a red bandanna, police said.
