EWLL routs Central Falls All-Stars |

The second round of pool play action in District IV’s Major Division All-Star tournament produced some interesting scores on Tuesday night.
East Woonsocket bounced back from an opening loss with a 21-0 victory over Central Falls. Ross Burch homered in the second inning for an early 2-0 lead and the EWLL team poured it on from there.
In a close game, Cumberland National edged Burrillville 8-5. Smithfield took the measure of North Smithfield by an 8-1 score and Scituate/Foster outscored Glocester, 12-1.
The tournament resumes on Thursday with four games. Cumberland American (1-0) will visit Cumberland National (1-0) and Burrillville (0-2) takes on Smithfield (1-1) in Pool B encounters.
In Pool A, Lincoln (1-0) visits Scituate/Foster (1-0) and Glocester (1-1) travels to East Woonsocket (1-1). All games will begin at 5:30 p.m.
The tournament resumes next Tuesday and Thursday with crossover games set for July 14 and the championship contest on Monday, July 17.
