PAWTUCKET – Justin Tilley belted a two-run home run while Eric Johnston stroked a two-run double and added three RBI as American Builders bested a squad from Chariho, 6-4, in Blackstone Valley League action.
American Builders improves to 7-3 with the win. Troy Sawyer (RBI single) and Erik Breault (triple) aided the offense, while Jamie Winters, Matt Allessandro and Chris Messier each chipped in with hits.
Kyle Treanor pitched three scoreless innings, allowing just two hits with three strikeouts. Chris Messier earned the save by striking out the final batter, stranding two Chariho runners in scoring position.
