PAWTUCKET — Police are seeking information on the suspect who robbed an estimated $1,500 worth of pills from the pharmacy at the CVS store at 835 Newport Ave. early Tuesday morning.

According to Pawtucket Police Detectives Lt. Daniel Mullen, a white male entered the store at around 4 a.m. and headed directly to the pharmacy counter. He deftly jumped over the counter, grabbed an assortment of pain pills and quickly left the store. No weapon was shown and no one was injured, Mullen said.
The suspect was captured on the store's video surveillance cameras, but police have no further information, Mullen said.
The man is described as being between 20 and 30 years' old and about 6' to 6 ' 2” tall with a medium build and shaggy hair. He was wearing a camouflage-print baseball hat, a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants and black sneakers.
If anyone has any information on this crime, they are asked to call Pawtucket Police at 727-9100.
