Shea, Saints net tennis wins E-mail

PAWTUCKET -- Shea High evened its record at 3-3 on the season with a 7-0 victory over Rogers on Monday afternoon at the Oak Hill courts.
Brian Ung, Matt Seel, Mitchell Cabral and Danny Matuszek posted singles victories for the Raiders.

Woonsocket blanks Coventry
WOONSOCKET -- Woonsocket rolled to an easy 7-0 victory over Coventry on Monday without losing a set.
The Novans are now 3-2 in Division IV action. They host Tiverton on Wednesday.

Saints remain undefeated
PAWTUCKET -- St. Raphael Academy improved its record to 6-0 in Division III with a 7-0 romp over Chariho on Monday at the Vets Park courts.
The Saints did not lose a set during their impressive victory. SRA visits Rogers on Wednesday and then has a home match at Slater Park on Friday against currently unbeaten Portsmouth.

WARWICK – Smithfield swept all the doubles’ matches, which ended being the difference in a 5-2 victory over Toll Gate on Monday. The Sentinels are 5-2 in Division II-North.

EAST PROVIDENCE – Portsmouth made quick work of East Providence, posting a 7-0 final. The loss was the Townies first of the spring, leaving them at 4-1 in Division III-North.
