RIC'S Kayla Fleming honored again |

PROVIDENCE --- The Little East Conference named Rhode Island College senior Kayla Fleming (Pawtucket) as its Field Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Coast Guard Invitational this past Saturday.
Fleming established a new program record in the high jump with a first place, 1.68-meter effort. She also placed first in the long jump (4.60 meters), second in the 4x400-meter relay (4:17.51) and fifth in the 800-meter run (2:27.82).
The Anchorwomen captured the Coast Guard Invitational title with 135 points, outdistancing second place Westfield State by 30 points.
Thirteen teams took part in the meet.
In upcoming action, Rhode Island College will compete at the Wesleyan Invitational on Saturday,
