Man robbed at gunpoint on Conant St. |

By DONNA KENNY KIRWAN PAWTUCKET — In the latest in a series of robberies that have occurred in recent days, a man told police he was robbed at gunpoint while walking on Conant Street on Wednesday at around 6:30 a.m.
The victim, who police declined to identify, said that he had been approached by a male suspect wearing a black mask. The suspect removed a handgun from his jacket pocket, pointed it at the victim, and demanded “everything that he had.” The suspect then fled on foot toward Weeden Street, the victim said. The suspect was described as being about 5’6” tall, with a skinny build, and was wearing a dark green jacket with a green hood, black gloves and blue jeans. On Monday night, another man walking on Conant Street reported being robbed at gunpoint after he was approached by four young males. The suspects, three black males and one white male, were alld escribed as being short. On Saturday night, a pizza delivery man also reported being robbed of money and a cell phone by four young males while he was walking on Star Street. The group fled toward the Conant Street bridge, the victim told police.
