PAWTUCKET — Police are investigating a report that a clerk at the School Street Sunoco at 81 School Street was robbed at gunpoint by a masked man at around 1:26 a.m., police said.
According to police, the suspect, wearing a mask, a white hooded sweatshirt and black gloves, entered the store and showed the clerk a handgun. He received an undetermined amount of cash and fled the store, heading south on School Street.
The suspect was described as a light-skinned black male with a beard, approximately 6”-6’2”, with a think build. Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call the Pawtucket Police at 727-9100, ext. 737.
