CENTRAL FALLS — Police have arrested a Lincoln man they say offered sex and drugs to female juveniles in the city.
At approximately 5:00 p.m. on Monday, police said, officers arrested 45-year-old Kenneth Irvine of 10 Willow Way, Lincoln. He was charged with possession of cocaine and enticement of children, first offense, according to police.

The arrest was made after officers were dispatched to the Fuller Avenue area following a report of a man “offering children narcotics and trying to lure them into his vehicle,” according to a report by Officer Phillip Garland. Having been provided with the registration number of the suspect’s vehicle, Garland reported finding the vehicle and stopping near the intersection of Dexter Street and Rand Street.
Garland said he was able to quickly identify the suspect as Irvine via his license. When asked to exit his vehicle and move toward a police cruiser, Irvine allegedly pled with the officer, asking if they could “work something out.”
While awaiting confirmation of information on Irvine’s vehicle, Garland reported noticing “a glass pipe on the passenger seat.” At this time, he reported learning that Irvine had allegedly propositioned two females, ages 12 and 16, “for sex and drugs.” Meanwhile, Officer Patrick Rogan reportedly conducted a pat-down search on Irvine, which turned up “two clear glassine baggies with a white rock like substance” in the top pocket of Irvine’s shirt.
Police then reported arresting Irvine and calling for a tow for his vehicle. Before the tow was conducted, however, an inventory was conducted on the car, which Garland said turned up another glassine baggie with content similar to the others allegedly found on Irvine.
Irvine was processed and placed in a cell, according to police. As of press time, it had not been announced whether or not Irvine had a court date scheduled on the offenses. A check of judicial records turned up no prior offenses under his name in Rhode Island.
