By DONNA KENNY KIRWAN PAWTUCKET — Two young females and a male, all from Pawtucket, were arrested in connection with a car-jacking incident that was reported in Central Falls on Wednesday at around 3:52 a.m. Police received an inter-city broadcast that a car-jacking by knifepoint had occurred near the intersection of Roosevelt Avenue and Cross Street. The vehicle, a 2005 silver Honda Accord, was reportedly seen heading east on Central Avenue in Pawtucket. According to police, Attleboro Police officers stopped the vehicle after a short pursuit near the intersection of Roosevelt Avenue and Mendon Avenue at around 4:15 a.m. Attleboro Police detained two female suspects, but said that the third suspect, a male, had fled the scene, heading toward Columbine Avenue. The two females, identified as Eden M. Rose, age unknown, of 21 Williams St., and Kaila M. DeLuca, 19, of 269 Baxter St., 2nd, were turned over to Pawtucket Police for questioning. Police say they saw a garage door that appeared to have been forced open on Columbine Avenue and found a white basketball jersey similar to what the suspect had been wearing. Massachusetts State Police responded to the scene with a search dog, but were unsuccessful in finding the male suspect. However, a short time later, Pawtucket Police responded to the residence of the suspect, identified as Erik DePina, 18, of of 72 McCabe St., 1st. DePina answered the door to his apartment and was taken into custody without incident, police said. DePina was charged with investigation by detectives, along with Rose. DeLuca was charged with having a recovered stolen vehicle, police said.
