Arson blamed for golf cart fire in graveyard E-mail
Wednesday, 23 April 2008

By DONNA KENNY KIRWAN

PAWTUCKET — Police blame arson on a fire that destroyed an abandoned golf cart that was found in the Walnut Hill Cemetery on Thursday shortly after midnight.

A witness reported seeing the blazing golf cart at the rear of the cemetery, where Arthur Street meets Wood Street. Pawtucket firefighters extinguished the fire, which completely destroyed the vehicle.
Police initially thought that the golf cart belonged to the city of Pawtucket and had been used for some land clearing in the area.
The damaged vehicle, which had a metal box attached to its side, was towed to the city’s Parks and Recreation facility at 250 Armistice Blvd. However, police later learned that the cart did not belong to the city and its ownership could not be established.

I love the fact that the bridge is now open again and it didn't
take as long as I thought!  Good work!

There are no good breakfast places now that Tigger's burned down.
The sidewalks are rolled up before 7pm and there is a lack of a friendly atmosphere.
I just returned from England and the people there bent over backwards to help us
out and were treated us like visiting dignitaries. There is nothing to do
at night except drink alcohol and heaven forbid if you drive afterward.  I don't
really know what can be done but it's an unfriendly place.
