PAWTUCKET â€” In what appears to be a case of â€śbuyer beware,â€ť a small Broad Street church that purchased the old Pawtucket-Central Falls train depot from its previous owners for one dollar could potentially be facing hundreds of thousands of dollars in repair costs and significant liabilities.
Representatives of the Iglesia Pentecostal Nueva Vida En Cristo Church, of 114 Broad St., have been summoned to appear in Municipal Housing Court on Jan. 13 to answer to a host of citations related to the crumbling 99-year-old brick building.
