Thomas W. Holden
CUMBERLAND- Thomas W. Holden, a fifty-five year resident of Cumberland, passed on this past Saturday at Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket. He was the wife of the late Caroline (Miler) Holden.
Mr. Holden was World War II veteran of the Merchant Marine, where he served in three global theatres. He retired in 1990 after forty years of service with the Murdock Webbing Company of Central Falls.
He is survived by three children, Susan R. LaRose of West Glocester, Thomas R. Holden of Warwick, and Stephen D. Holden of Smithfield; one brother, Lawrence N. Holden of Lincoln; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Selena Caiden.
He was loved and respected by his family and community, and will be very much missed.
His funeral will be held Friday, July 6 at 7:00 p.m. in BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Relatives and friends are invited and may call prior to the service from 4:00-7:00 p.m. His burial will be private.
