Thomas L. Jassak
CENTRAL FALLS - Thomas L. Jassak passed away Saturday, a week before his 88th birthday. Born in Providence, a son of the late Thomas Jacob Jassak and Carolina (Zrudlowska) Jassak. Mr. Jassak was a lifelong resident of Central Falls and had been employed as a school teacher in the Central Falls School system for 38 years, retiring in 1986. He was a graduate of Providence College, a former clerk to several Senatorial Committees and was a member of the Mount Moriah Lodge #8 F & AM and was a past treasurer of the Polaski Society of Central Falls.
He leaves a cousin, Raymond M. Jassak Jr. of CA and a step-sister, Irene Tremblay of Pawtucket. He was the nephew of the late Leo, Raymond, Flora, Bertha and Wanda Jassak.
His Funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 AM from the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, with a Mass of Christian Burial in the Lady Chapel of Holy Name of Jesus Church, Camp Street Providence at 10 AM. Calling Hours, Tuesday, 5:30 until 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to your favorite charity would appreciated.
