Therese M. St. Pierre
ATTLEBORO - Therese M. St. Pierre, 82, a longtime resident of North Attleboro died early Friday morning, April 8, 2011 in Golden Living Center, Attleboro where she has resided since 2008. She was the wife of the late Maurice Gerard St. Pierre who passed away in 1976.
Born January 30, 1929 in Pawtucket, RI, she was a daughter of the late Josephat and Donalda (Benoit) Kirouac.
Therese grew up in Pawtucket and was a graduate of St. Cecelia's Elementary School in Pawtucket and later received a diploma from Bristol Community College.
She worked at the former Reeve's Drug Store in downtown North Attleboro for over five years and she also helped run her husband's office, a TV repair shop, in Pawtucket for several years until 1965.
She retired from K-Mart in TriBoro Plaza in 1994.
Therese was a longtime communicant of Sacred Heart Church where she sang in the choir. She loved music, especially playing the piano and loved antiquing.
She is survived by her four children, Roland M. St. Pierre of Tiverton, RI, Marie E. Klokman of Hopedale, Louise T. St. Pierre of North Attleboro and Raymond J. St. Pierre of Alexandria, VA; two sisters, Marie Kirouac of Swansea and Claire Mello of East Providence, RI; three grandchildren, Cory and Devin Klokman of Hopedale and Joseph St. Pierre of Alexandria, VA.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, April 10 from 2-5 p.m. in the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home, 15 Grove Street, North Attleboro.
A funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday, April 11 at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Heart Church, 58 Church Street, North Attleboro at 10 o'clock. Burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Attleboro Falls.
