Theresa Jean Daigle
SEEKONK - Theresa Jean Daigle, 89, died peacefully at home on Saturday, December 14, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Normand Daigle for 68 years. Theresa was born in Westport, MA the daughter of the late Pierre and Alma (Cote) Pelletier. Before her retirement she was a telephone supervisor for the Sears Company. She was an avid nature enthusiast who enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband. She was also a talented golfer, gardener, and cook.
In addition to her husband she leaves a daughter Janet Leaver and her husband Don of Topsham, ME; a son Michael Daigle and his fiance Eileen Emond of Seekonk; a brother Pierre Pelletier of Westport, MA; two sisters Rita Morrissette and Rose Morrissette both of Fall River, MA; 7 granddaughters, three grandsons, and six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Darlington Mortuary, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket on Wednesday, December18, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at St. Stephen's Cemetery, S. Main Street, Attleboro. Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 12:30 - 1:30 prior to the service.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial collation to celebrate her life at the O'Hare Wellman Suite, Elks Lodge, South Main Street, Attleboro from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Donations to the VNA Hospice Care, 10 Emory Street, Attleboro or the Alzheimer's Association in her memory would be appreciated.
