PAWTUCKET - Theodore "Teddy" A. Lefort, formerly of Charlesgate Assisted Living, passed away Sunday after an illness. He was the former husband of Maryalyce (Greene) Lefort.
Born in Central Falls, he was a son of the late Arthur and Leah (Isabel) Lefort. He lived most of his life in Pawtucket. He had been employed as an exterminator for New England Pest Control for many years before his illness. Mr. Lefort Served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and was a former communicant of St. Teresa of the Child Jesus Church of Pawtucket and was very committed to his religion. He was an inventor and enjoyed woodworking.
Besides his former wife, he leaves a daughter, Megan Lefort of SC and a son Gregory Lefort of Bristol. He also leaves a sister, Constance Semenick of Central Falls and 2 step-brothers, David and Michael Lefort. His funeral will be held TODAY at 10 am from the Charles Coelho Funeral Home, 151 cross St. Central Falls. Burial with Military Honors will be held at the RI Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Exeter.
