CUMBERLAND- Thelma (Sidebotham) Chadwick, 89, of Boardman Avenue died Friday, March 16, 2012 at Greenwood Care and Rehabilitation Center, Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick L. Chadwick to whom she was married for 49 years.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Herbert and Ethel (Worthington) Sidebotham, she had lived in Pawtucket before moving to Cumberland 54 years ago. She was the sister of the late Calvin Sidebotham.
Mrs. Chadwick was a personnel assistant for American Insulated Wire Company, Pawtucket for 10 years and for Fram Corporation, East Providence for 28 years, retiring in 1979.
She was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Cumberland, the Cumberland Senior Center, the St. Aidan's Seniors and the AARP. She was an auxiliary member of the Retired Officers Association and a Past Worthy Advisor of Pawtucket Assembly #3, Order of Rainbow for Girls. She was a past member and volunteer of the Ladies Aid at Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews; her sisters-in-law, Lee Paull of North Kingstown and Marie Cinq-Mars of Seekonk, MA; her brother-in-law and his wife, Irvin "Bob" and Etta Chadwick of Shelby, NC; relatives in England; and many good and loving friends.
Her funeral will be held TUESDAY, MARCH 20 at 9:45 A.M. from BELLOWS-FALSO FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln with a Requiem Eucharist at 11 A.M. in Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 120 Nate Whipple Highway, Cumberland. Burial will be in Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls.
