Susan W. Verdon
LINCOLN - Susan W. Verdon, 92, of Wake Robin Road died Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Miriam Hospital, Providence.
A lifelong resident of Lincoln, she was a daughter of the late George W. and Kathleen M. (Keaney) Verdon.
Miss Verdon was a housekeeper and a companion, and later was a bookkeeper for Chase Metals before retiring.
She was a charter member of the Cumberland-Lincoln Community Chorus and a charter member of the Lime Rockers Senior Group. She was an officer and member of AARP Chapter #1192, and was a member of its bowling league. She was a former member of the Lime Rock Grange, the Pomona Grange, and the National Grange.
She is survived by one sister, Anna Tucker and her husband, Alvin of Lincoln; two brothers, James K. Verdon and his wife, Jean of Douglas, MA and John M. Verdon and his wife, Thelma of Lincoln; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was the sister of the late George W. Verdon, Jr., Joseph R. Verdon and Kathleen Rivet.
Her funeral service will be held SATURDAY, JUNE 1 at 2 P.M. at BELLOWS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 160 River Road, Lincoln. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call SATURDAY 1-2 P.M.
