Due to expected rain and wind associated with Hurricane Arthur, some local fireworks displays have been rescheduled.
Cumberland has cancelled its show for July 3 (tonight) and rescheduled it to Saturday, June 5 with the celebration beginning at 6 p.m.
Fireworks are still currently scheduled in Glocester for July 5, at 9 p.m., but there is a rain date of Sunday, July 6.
The Bristol fireworks scheduled for July 3 (tonight) at Bristol Harbor at 9:30 p.m. is still expected to proceed as planned.
Woonsocketâ€™s fireworks have NOT been cancelled and will begin tonight, July 3, at 9:30, but the show has a rain date of Saturday, June 5.
The Bellingham fireworks have been rescheduled to the rain date of July 5. Patriot Place has cancelled its fireworks show scheduled for tonight, July 3, and has no rain date planned as of this posting.
The Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular has been moved up to tonight beginning at 8 p.m. with the concert.
East Providence has postponed its fireworks display and moved it to Saturday, July 5 at 6 p.m. at Pierce Stadium.
Providence has moved its fireworks show to Saturday, July 5 at 9:15 p.m. at India Point Park.
