Silas Miguel Rosa
PAWTUCKET - Silas Miguel Rosa, 53 of Pawtucket died Wednesday at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center surrounded by his loving family. Born in Cape Verde he is the son of Maria Fatima (Avelino) Rosa and the late Ido Soares Rosa.
Up until 4 years ago Silas worked as a Machine Operator for American Insulated Wire Company in Pawtucket.
He is survived by a daughter, Michelle T. Rosa of Pawtucket; his brothers, Ildeberto Rosa of Pawtucket, Emanuel Rosa of Pawtucket, Lucindo Rosa of New Bedford, and Luis Rosa of Warwick; his sisters, Marta Remolina of Coventry and Monica Rosa of Central Falls; and many nieces and nephews.
Silas is the brother of the late Humberto Pires.
Silas enjoyed spending time with family and friends and especially loved the Holidays. He enjoyed fishing and playing the accordion.
His funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. in the Emaixadores Church of Nazarene, 194 Barton Street, Pawtucket. His life will be celebrated with calling hours on Friday night from 5:00 8:00 p.m. at the Emaixadores Church of the Nazarene, relatives and friends are invited to attend.
