Sheila M. Smith
CUMBERLAND - Sheila M. Smith, 85, of Ronald Ave., passed away Sunday at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph L. Smith.
Born in Cumberland she was the daughter of the late Margaret Brannigan. She was a life long Cumberland resident.
Mrs. Smith and her late husband we communicants of St. John Vianney Church and had been very active at the church form many years.
She leaves five daughters, Sheila Daniels of Cumberland, Mary Michael and husband Michael of Cranston, Christina Warner and husband Chris of Wakefield, Ann Daggett and husband Bill of Cape Elizabeth, ME and Monica Smith of Groton, CT. She also leaves a brother, Paul Mageau and wife Betty of Cumberland, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. John Vianney Church, Diamond Hill Rd., Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
