Send your veterans photos to The Times

Pawtucket's John McBurney served in World War II. The Times is soliciting photos from its readers of any family members who served in the military.

The Times is seeking photos of Blackstone Valley military veterans, whether they served in war zones or not. Please send photos to our email box: veterans@pawtuckettimes.com or drop them off in the Veterans mail basket located on the front desk of The Times' office, 23 Exchange St., Pawtucket.

Please include the following information with your photos:
Name of soldier:
Hometown:
Service branch: Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard.
Years served:
Location of tours:
Highlights:

If you drop off a photo at The Times' office, please include a self-addressed, stamped, return envelope so that we can get the photo back to you.

The Times will also publish photos of deceased veterans around the Memorial Day holiday. Please send in those photos, too, with accompanying information.

As Jimmy Brennan says, "America is No. 1 because of our veterans."
