Ruth V. Jackson Wild
WALLINGFORD, CT - Ruth V. Jackson Wild, 94, of Wallingford, died Friday, March 21, 2014, at Masonicare of Wallingford. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Watson Wild.
Born in Pawtucket, RI, December 8, 1919, a daughter of the late Robert Edward Jackson and the late Leonie Rebecca Burlingame Jackson, she lived in Rhode Island before moving to Wallingford several years ago. She had been employed by the Swiss Pylon Company of Smithfield, RI, for many years until her retirement.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Joan-Lee Puckett of Wallingford; her grandchildren, Robert Watson Wild Jr., Cynthia Dicks, Edward Watson Wild, Kimber-Lee St. Amant, Robin Wild, and Ronald Edward Puckett; her brother, Edward E. Jackson; 16 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Robert Watson Wild, her sisters, Mildred Culpan, and Dorothy Flaxington, and her brothers, Robert A. Jackson and Richard E. Jackson.
