Russell F. Bears Jr.
PAWTUCKET - Russell F. Bears Jr., 55 of Prince Street, passed away Saturday at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He died unexpectedly after complications with pneumonia.
He was the loving husband of 19 wonderful years to Nelia Aguiar-Bears, and father of Adrian Aguiar-Ray of Pawtucket and two daughters.
Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Russell F. Bears and Elsie M. Baker.
Mr. Bears was a devoted employee in the shipping dept. for General Cable Company of Lincoln for over 37 years. He loved to spend time with his family and his pets, enjoyed watching sports, and also loved fishing in his spare time.
Besides his beloved wife and son he leaves several brothers and sisters, his mother-in-law Maria Aguiar and father-in-law Jose Aguiar, all of Pawtucket, he also leaves several family members and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday at 9 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will follow in Mount St. Mary's Cemetery, 661 Prospect St. Pawtucket RI. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be held Friday, 4-8 PM.
