Rose B. Kahla
PAWTUCKET - Rose B. Kahla, 87, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Moses and Jennie (Zammat) Kahla.
Rose was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket. She was a proud member of St. Basil the Great parish since 1934 and held various positions, she also was a member of the altar sodality, the senior citizens, the prayer line, and the English choir at the church.
She is survived by her brother, George Kahla, seven nieces, four nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary Koussa and Charles Kahla.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10am in Saint Basil The Great Church, Skyview Drive, Lincoln. Burial will be in Saint Basil's Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Thursday 4-7pm in the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Basil's Building Fund, would be appreciated. For online condolences, www.rifuneral.com.
