PAWTUCKET - Santiago, Rosa Manuel, 95 of Pawtucket. Rosa died at home on July 23, 2012 surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving Matriach of her family. She was born in Brava, Cabo Verde, a daughter of the late Manuel Jose and Isabel (Cosme) Santiago.
She was the loving mother of Arminda Martins of Cumberland, Lucilia Chavier and her husband Antonio of Providence, Autilia Silva and her husband Alvaro, Iolanda Santos and her husband Ronald, Napolean Silva and his wife Silveria all of Pawtucket, Maria DePina and her husband Armando of Seekonk and Isabelle Goncalves and her husband Alfred of Gloucester. One sister Ana Silva. Devoted grandmother of 17 and 2 deceased, great-grandmother of 27, great-great-grandmother of 2 and several nieces and nephews. Mother of the late Manuel, Emilia and Jose Silva. Sister of the late Dominga Rodrigues and Antonio Santiago.
A funeral will be held Thursday at 9 am from the Merrick R. Williams Funeral Home 530 Smithfield Ave. Pawtucket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Edwards Church Weeden St. Pawtucket. Calling Hours Wednesday 5-9 pm. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
