NORTH KINGSTOWN - Roberta A. "Aunt Bob" Chandley, 82, of Dana Road, passed away Friday, October 8, 2010.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late James and Mabel (Donahue) Chandley; and the step-daughter of the late Helen (Shannon) Chandley.
Ms. Chandley worked in reservations for American Airlines for 44 years before retiring.
She was a daily communicant and volunteer at St. Bernard Church. She was devoted to family and friends in time of need. In her youth, she enjoyed traveling.
She leaves a brother, Joseph Chandley of Seekonk, MA; a sister, Shannon (Chandley) Hatheway of Albuquerque, NM; a brother-in-law, William Lynch; a sister-in-law, Elsie Chandley; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary Chandley, Ann (Chandley) Lynch and James Chandley; and sister-in-law of the late Catherine Chandley.
Her Funeral will be held Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 8:45am from the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown. Burial will be in Mount St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours Friday 4-7pm.
