Robert L. Macon
PAWTUCKET - Robert L. "Reb" Macon, Sr. 76 of Denver Street, Pawtucket died Sunday August 28, 2011 at his home. He was the husband of the late Gladys D. (St. Jean) Macon.
Mr. Macon was a US Navy veteran. He retired from the Allegra Printing Company as commercial printer. Reb was a seasonal camper for 30 years and was well known as "Bobby Lee the Clown." He was an active member of the Leon Matthews Senior Center and had an active and competitive spirit with horseshoes and card playing as his fortes. He leaves behind one daughter, April Salisbury of Pawtucket, three sons; Robert L. Macon,Jr. of South Carolina, William J. Macon and Daniel J. Macon both of Pawtucket; six grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was the father of the late James E. Macon.
Calling hours will be held Sunday from 1-3 in the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a service following at 3 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
