Robert C. Hale, Sr.
ATTLEBORO- Robert C. Hale, Sr., 79, of Ft. Myers Beach, FL and South Attleboro, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012.
He was born Dec. 12, 1932 in Somerville, MA, the son of Leslie and Helen (Harris) Hale.
He proudly served in the US Navy from 1952-1956. He worked for Texas Instruments for 38 years. In his earlier years, he was involved in coaching and umpiring for the South Attleboro Baseball League and was an avid bowler.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his loving wife, Patricia (Campbell) Hale of Ft. Myers Beach, FL and South Attleboro; 5 children, Robert, Jr., Steven, Kevin, David, and James all of South Attleboro; a sister, Barbara V. Richardson of Nolensville, TN; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service and VISITATION will be held Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a reception from 6 to 9 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 437 Newport Ave., South Attleboro.
