Rita L. Rousseau-Davignon
PAWTUCKET - Rita L. (Vincelette)Rousseau-Davignon, 89, passed away peacefully on November 11th after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest Rousseau and the late Maurice Davignon. She was born in Central Falls, the daughter of the late Esdras and Ida (Gagnon) Vincelette and was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket.
She was a homemaker and volunteer at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island for many years.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Rousseau and his wife Claudette of Rehoboth, MA and Roger Rousseau and his wife Linda of Cranston, two step sons, a sister Ann Dussault of Cumberland, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday, November 24th from the Darlington Mortuary of L. Heroux & Son, 1042 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket at 9:00 a.m. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church, Walcott Street, Pawtucket at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Avenue, Pawtucket. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Friday, November 23rd from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
