Rita G. Dalpe
PAWTUCKET - Rita G. Dalpe, 91, of Pawtucket, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2012. She was the wife of the late William C. Dalpe.
Born in North Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edmond and Germaine (Chicoine) Batalon. Mrs. Dalpe was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket.
She is survived by two sons, William and David Dalpe, five daughters, Dolores Simonin, Diana Rao, Judith Enos, Janet Towner, and Karen Dalpe, a brother, Raymond Batalon, three sisters, Claire Mathieu, Therese Turner, and Dolores Conroy, 26 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Ronald Dalpe. She was also the sister of the late Normand Batalon and Doris Sherry.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 10AM in Saint Cecilia Church of Blessed Pope John Paul II Parish, 1253 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 4-8PM in the COSTIGAN-O'NEILL Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations to Elmhurst Extended Care, Eden Fund, 50 Maude Street, Providence, RI, 02908, would be appreciated.
