Richard E. Bricusse
PAWTUCKET Richard E. "Bric" Bricusse, 87, passed away Monday, December 20, 2010. He was the beloved husband of the late Estelle M. (Robichaud) Bricusse. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Felicien and Lucy (Pierson) Bricusse. Bric was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, he was wounded during combat and received the Purple Heart. He was a roofer for many years until retiring and most recently worked at St. Cecilia Parish until 2004.
He leaves his daughter, Paulette M. Harris and her husband Joseph of North Kingstown; three grandchildren, Lisa and Thomas Betcher and Serena Barnier; a great-granddaughter, Elyssa Sena and nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Jeanne C. Simkins and the brother of the late John Bricusse and Lillian Hosey.
His funeral with Military Honors will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave. Interment will follow at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
