Regina M. Hutton
SOUTH KINGSTOWN - Regina "Reggie" M. (Hilliard) Hutton, 81, of South Kingstown, formerly of Evergreen St., Pawtucket, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, October 27, 2012. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward "Teddy" W. Hutton.
Born in Claremont, New Hampshire, the daughter of the late Harry H. and Irene S. (Simmons) Hilliard, she resided in Pawtucket for many years before moving to South Kingstown in 2007.
Reggie was a Registered Nurse at the Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island for forty years until retiring in 1990. She was a volunteer for the Salvation Army Home League for many years as well as the Rhode Island Association for the Handicapped. Reggie was a member of the Pawtucket Womens Club and the Memorial Hospital Volunteer Association. She enjoyed gardening, woodworking, ceramics, drawing and painting.
She leaves two sons and their spouses, Edward W. and Mary Ann Hutton of Chapel Hill, North Carolina and Jeffrey J. and Kathleen Hutton of Hope Valley, and the light of her life, her beloved grandson, Jeffrey E. Hutton of Hope Valley.
VISITATION will begin Thursday at 10 a.m. at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by Services at Noon. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Pawtucket. For online condolences visit:
