PAWTUCKET — Marine Lance Corporal Charles Bradley joined the military with the best of intentions and served in Iraq as a helicopter mechanic. Yet, when he was honorably discharged five years later, he was a nervous and depressed single father who found himself suddenly unemployable.
In 2007, Bradley eventually found love again, marrying and presiding over a family of four. Yet, problems with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and other mental health issues have dogged him since, and contributed to the family’s financial struggles.
