PAWTUCKET - Raymond Vincent, 91, of Mt. Vernon Blvd, Pawtucket passed away on July 5th at the Pawtucket Skilled Nursing Center. He was the loving husband of Anna (Totoro) Vincent. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Dona and Marie (Allard) Vincent.
Before starting his career working for the Teknor Apex Corporation, Mr. Vincent served his country in the U.S. Navy during the WWII. Raymond loved to travel and was a member of the Royal Travelers as well as a lifelong member of The American Legion.
Mr. Vincent is survived by his sisters, Doris Coulombe, Flora Perry and Anita Vincent, all of Pawtucket, his brother Roland Vincent and his nephew, Paul C. Day.
The funeral for Mr. Vincent will be Wednesday, July 9th at 9:00 AM from the Manning-Heffern Funeral Home, 68 Broadway, Pawtucket, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Teresaâ€™s Church, 358 Newport Avenue, Pawtucket, at 10:00 AM. Burial with full military honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Calling hours will be prior to the funeral beginning at 8:30 AM in the funeral home.
