Raymond P. Barthe
CUMBERLAND - Raymond P. Barthe, 80, of Jackson St., passed away Wednesday in the Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the beloved husband of the late Pauline N. (Bertini) Barthe.
Born in Central Falls he was the son of the late Paul and Alma (Gouin) Barthe. He resided in Cumberland for the past 50 years.
Mr. Barthe was employed by the former ITT Royal Electric Co., Pawtucket for many years until his retirement and was also a member of the IBEW.
He was a U. S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
He leaves a daughter, Kimberly Tidd of Pawtucket and two sisters, Rita Scanlon of Central Falls and Alice Lembo of North Hills, CA. He also leaves two grandchildren, Marc P. Barthe Jr. of Cumberland and Kyla Rose-Tidd of Pawtucket. He was the father of the late Marc P. Barth Sr.
A celebration of his life with military honors will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, 630 Rathbun St., Blackstone. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
